EventNet, Astro Rent and WiFi4Rent are launching the European Event Wi-Fi Alliance
New European collaboration sets the standard for reliable temporary Wi-Fi and ICT solutions at events
Berlin, 28 November 2025 – As of today, three leading players in temporary network and ICT facilities for the event industry — EventNet, Astro Rent and WiFi4Rent — officially join forces in a new European partnership: the European Event Wi-Fi Alliance (EEWA).
The alliance aims to create a common European standard for high-quality, secure and scalable Wi-Fi and ICT services at events of all sizes. From festivals and sports tournaments to conferences, trade fairs and corporate events, the member companies combine their experience, technology and capacity to support organisers across Europe.
European cooperation for higher quality
The creation of the European Event Wi-Fi Alliance creates a unique network of specialized companies that:
can scale up faster at large or international events,
share technical expertise to increase reliability,
facilitates cross-border operations,
and innovates in the field of temporary networks, Wi-Fi design, ICT infrastructure and data security.
"The demand for stable and professional network management at events is growing every year," the founders said in a joint statement. "By joining forces, we can guarantee customers a higher level of reliability, speed and service — wherever in Europe the event takes place."
A strong foundation by three specialized companies
The alliance consists of the following at the start:
EventNet – specialist in temporary network architectures for medium-sized and large-scale events for the German market
Astro Rent – supplier of technical event solutions with a focus on hardware, infrastructure and logistics for the Belgian market
WiFi4Rent – expert in fast, flexible and scalable Wi-Fi facilities for festivals, sports events and corporate events for the Dutch market
Together, they represent decades of experience in temporary ICT solutions and hundreds of events realized per year.
The start celebrated on November 28, 2025
The three companies mark today with a joint meeting during the Future Of Festivals and where they toast the start of the European Event Wi-Fi Alliance and present the ambitions for the coming years.
